Introduction
The eleventh International Performers´ Competition took place in Brno between 18th and 23rd September 2006 as a part of Brno International Music Festival.
International Performers´ Competition was presented by statutory City of Brno under the auspices of Richard Svoboda, Mayor of the Statutory City of Brno, with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and the Southern Moravia Region.

Category A (up to 20 years) a Category B (between 21 and 30 years)
74 Candidates took part of the International Performers´ Competition 2006 in French horn - 31 candidates in category A and 43 candidates in category B.

Concert of Laureates
Concert of Laureates took part on September 23, 2006 at 4.30 p.m. at Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno as a part of the Brno International Music Festival "Moravian Autumn 2006".
The program of the concert was chosen by the jury based on the best performances from all rounds.
