Introduction

14th International Performers' Competition in PERCUSSION – MARIMBA took place in Brno under the auspices of Roman Onderka, the Mayor of the Statutory City of Brno, between 26th September and 1st October 2009. The competition has been held with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and the Southern Moravia Region.

Concert of laureates

The concert of laureates took place in the Concert Hall of the Music Faculty of the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno on 1st October 2009. The programme of the concert has been chose by the jury from the best performances of all rounds.
