Holders of the main prizes (1st to 3rd Prize) are awarded the title of laureate.
All prizes are subject to taxation according to law 586/1992. Performing at concert of laureates on 2nd October 2010, is not paid even the concert is recorded on the Czech Radio or the Czech Television. The programme of the concert will be chosen by the jury based on the best performances of all rounds. It is the sole decision of jury to award or not to award the prizes. The 1st Prize cannot be shared.
The Miraphone Company presents to the winner of the 15th International Performers‘ Competition a concert tuba of his own choice. In case the 1st prize will not be awarded, the instrument will be given to the holder of the highest prize in accordance of the decision of the jury.
